Just got my connection kit thing from Tiscali, and in it is a Sagem F@ast 800 E2T modem. Which has 1 USB output on the back. Is it possible to get some sort of converter to allow me to connect it to the ethernet port on the back of my Xbox?

Also, could I connect to my PC via ethernet as well, or will windows be looking for a USB modem every time I go on the internet?

Cheers.

Technically, they're right as you can still use ICS to get on XBL when using a USB modem. They proably don't state that a Network card and Crossover cable are also required though.

That's what I was thinking, I think I may just call up Tiscali and see if they can send me an enthernet modem. Failing that I'll cancel my contract. I asked before I ordered if their package was compatible with Xbox - they said yes.

I think in this case, you'll need to run the modem from your PC, enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and hook the Xbox up to your PC via network card.

I haven't used this method in a long time, so if you need more advice/whatnot, best wait for someone else to pop in here :)
