I'm looking for a novel, or a series of novels, that have assassins in them as a sort of central theme. Preferably fictional, fantasy or sci fi in genre, wouldn't be too fussed on real life stuff. I know this is a sort of vague description, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Anyway, thanks in advance.

You need to look up words in a dictionary for things more intellectually challenging than Alex Rider?

Shade's Children is a slightly more 'teen' book and isn't tecnnically an assassin book but it still has an original plot, SF and gratuitous violence.

It's by Garth Nix but was a promotional freebie to Ottakars, so you may not be able to buy it.

I hate art. There's too much to do and like you I always leave until the night before it has to be handed in, which generally means I'm until 2am finishing it. Thankfully, my next piece isn't in until November.

Meh. i enjoy reading low level stuff sometimes. The stories are still good and you can spend more time appreciating it instead of looking up words in the dictionary.

Only GCSE but I'd basically not done any for the last six months, so I was playing catch-up the day before the deadline.

The only other Horowitz stuff that I enjoyed (mainly as it's the only other stuff I read) would have to be that horror series he wrote.

Actually, he wrote two of them, but they were both fantastic and quite chilling.
