If you feel that not of the major parties are fit to govern that use you vote for one of the other parties in protest, you will not change anything by sitting at home.
In the end it comes to personalities and who you would rather run the country. Tony the Tyrant or Mad Willy, I agree neither so it looks like my Cross will go in the Charles the Jock box.
I just have a problem with both the major parties.
Whilst I dont believe that whoever you vote for makes a difference in the end, only the faces change, I have yet to be presented with the policies in a clear format.
I've looked at the posters, but they are just childish "Vote for them and you'll die" tactics, not one of them outlines manifesto and I resent childish scare tactics designed to use personality over policy.
There, my soap box is back in the cupboard
I think you should all vote in the election, remember your grandparents or greatgrandparents either gave their lives or knew people who did so that you would have the right to vote, so do not pass this by. There are other countries in this world were the people do not have the right to vote.
Sorry, I am off my soap box now and normal service will resume.
Although that Charles Kennedy, I like the cut of his gib
I don't think I'll bother. I have several reasons, one of which being that our common room has been out of action for 3 days because of this disruption, which has been highly irritating.
The stations have been open since 7am and will close at 10pm.
(yes, I know...I know, I'm making a point about voter apathy)
