I have to say, partly joking, that this whole "Scots vs Welsh vs English" thing is a little disturbing.

being labelled a Sassensach, or Taffy or English Ponce is no better than labelling someone for being Pakistani or Chinese.

I would no more tolerate that sort of behaviour than I would this (admittedly) joking thread.

There are loads of "you're welsh, you sh*g sheep" jokes and Scots being hillbillies and English being dandy fops.

Just wonder why it's ok to stereotype our 3 nations, yet everyone would scream and demand banning if people started with other, socially abhorrent, racial slurs?

But that's just me, thinking too much.
