Figured i'd make a place to talk about the soccer ball in Spain, if only to have a place for my Robinho love :-D

Exciting match so far with Madrid and Celta, the awesome Nunez getting on the score sheet. Serves Robby Carlos right for legging it into the box before the penalty had been taken, had he waited until it was taken and then moved he'd probably have been in a place to deal with it.

It's certainally not the start I expected in La Liga.

Imagine if Real Madrid miss out on something by one point, whether it be the Champions League or the title (unlikely!), will they wish they'd been so "respecting" to Espanyol then?!

Saw the highlights of The Real madrid vs espanyol, anyone else hear about this, Espanyol won 1-0 but in the link up to the goal the referee blew for a free-kick to madrid but espanyol carried on anyway and scored and it counted! Real madrid have decided not to appeal in respect of their opponents. Bah.

Saw the highlights of the Real game this dinner - boy was the referee rubbish!

Giving a penalty when the Real player just went up with him for the ball was a shocker.

James Richardson is like a father, brother and bearded bald man to me. I love the fella. Usually he's the most watchable part of the Serie A coverage though. I'd rather watch Zidane, Ronaldinho, Riquelme and co. in Spain than see AC Milan grind out another tedious 1-0 win. As I say, at its best it's great, but it rarely gets there (of course I can only speak of the televised matches, not living in Italy or having the income to feasibly fly over there every weekend).

I'm just going to disagree with you there, it's too late for arguments.

Guh!?

Premiership at a push, but Serie A? At its best it's great, but usually it's so, so dull.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure.
