Would a mx440 be capable of playing this game?

Yeah I know what you mean, it's kind of a small step up, but the demo doesn't seem to let off what features are in the full game. I think you can only level up to a certain point, and you can't start at the nomad age (oh what a shame etc).

I guess we'll just have to see the reviews.

Haven't played AoE for about 2 years, so I'm finding it quite fun at the moment.

Because there's no tutorial?
Wtf?

Can't you just mess around and work things out for yourself?
Sure, it'll be annoying at first

But I'd rather do that than not play the game at all...

Oh come on, it was exacly the same.
5 towns folk, a few animals, a tree, a mine.

Fair enough I wouldn't know what to replace it but I was a bit annoyed about it.

Sorry, cheers for the advice but I figured out the issue and I've been playing a skirmish for the last hour or so.

I had to set my AA and AF settings to "Let the application decide" in my graphics driver settings, they were the culprits in the issue. (Radeon 9600 Pro).

It does seem very AoE and AoE2, but you can't beat a winning formula aye?

I just put everything as 'high' as it would go.

I hate RST games but this was quite nice, i'll probably give the full game a go but depends what else is out at the time.

I didn't think it was that great (I mean, the visuals were pretty great, but I didn't like, as Goaty pointed out, that there's no tutorial), but then I'm not a massive AoE fan. I much prefer Red Alert.

Yeah i always like have a tut to go through before playing just incase i miss an element of gameplay that's important.
