I'm not sure.
Will the formation be the same and will Owen return to the squad or not?
Again not sure.
Discuss.
Ah well least he's suspended for the next game, gives him a rest to be fresh for United

Looking at him at the minute he'd take on all the NI fans at the same time!

I was just thinking how many countries nowadays have got or have recently had foreign managers for their national football teams. A few years ago this would have been unthinkable for the vast majority of nations but now it's a lot more common.
To say if England play Sweeden Sven won't put as much effort into the game is wrong. If he really does do that the players will surely have something to say about it. Player power and all that stuff is so big these days he won't get away with it.
Anyway England haven't made a bad start but are still passing the ball around in the midfield and back to the goalkeeper when they should be pushing up the field and attacking the NI half to give them something to defend rather than just watching an England passing display. Annoying!

Yeah, he's a great manager don't get me wrong. His record speaks for itself. The point I was making is that he's not English.
I just don't agree that countries are allowed to have managers that are not from that country.
Even if it's an English manager managing Brazil or someone, it's just not right.

I hope that will be the case and he'll run riot for the last 20 minutes or so but hopefully he'll stay on the left and not take up any position he feels like. I think part of the problem on Saturday was his lack of form and he was trying too hard to have a good game which backfired on him and will almost certainally lead to him being dropped.
