England squad:

Michael Vaughan (captain)
James Anderson
Ian Bell
Paul Collingwood
Andrew Flintoff
Ashley Giles
Stephen Harmison
Matthew Hoggard
Geraint Jones
Simon Jones
Kevin Pietersen
Andrew Strauss
Marcus Trescothick

Get fit soon Simon Jones!

Hopefully England will still be attacking and go for the win rather than defend to try and get a draw, I think they're more likely to succeed this way.

I actually thought that too! In the first test, I hadn't seen the England squad names and so when I turned on the tv, my first thoughts were "Woah, James Anderson's thickened out a bit!"

I think it was a good decision to go with Collingwood for the final test though. I wasn't convinced by Anderson's bowling at all in the last few tests I saw him take part in. I don't think he would have sped up Australia's dismissal in the first innings. On the other hand, Collingwood survived something like 72 minutes through a very hard period of the game whilst allowing Pietersen a chance to put some decent runs on the board. If Collingwood had gone earlier, Australia would have had a good chance to knock the tail down during that intense time and could have come in to bat it out for a win. Its good that they all seemed to play their part - even Bell made some good catches.

You know that's not what I meant.

I just get annoyed when people who don't know what they're talking about try and act like they do. You must know the feeling, it applies with all kinds of things; football, games. I'm all for the popularity of the sport, it makes it much mre enjoyable when you'tre watching the game with ten or so of your mates.

Woot, watched this from the 2nd test, on and off, mainly on with my friend.

Like Mattribute, watched England for years and this is the best I've ever seen them.
