It makes a right mess. I managed to make some swirly patterns that won't go away. It looks like nasty smudges but no amount of wiping will make them disappear. Whoops.

"Refresh" the screen by pushing the button on the monitor, or else turn it off and on. It works sometimes.

Well, I just placed it briefly on the screen at first and I noticed that made pretty green and purple patterns so I put it on again and decided it would be good if quickly moved the magnet around the screen to create a similar effect to a sparkler. Little did I know that the effects on the monitor would be permenant.

Luckily, I'm the only person that uses this computer so all is well.

It was your fault for experimenting with magnets, most people do know that they create an effect when placed near electrical systems

I've only had this one about a year. It still works so it'll do for now.

My bro thought it would be funny to do it on mine yesterday since I was meant to be getting my TFT. It totally screwed it up, and to top it off my TFT is delayed till Monday :@

Don't laugh, there's huge smear on the right hand side. Magnets should came with a proper warning: Do not place near monitors. Then everything would be fine. In fact, I may sue the magnet company and get a bigger and better monitor.
