"He wont be around for long
What, is it aids?"
"Do funny, Barry
Oi Pat, get of my foot"
Ahaha, I love this show. I really wish I'd seen the Les Dennis one.

I think I preferred his nudity chat. The line "But I've already seen everything" was delivered perfectly.
"I'm with Rooney and Beckham...And Victoria Bekcham walks in.."
"Let me guess - her clothes fall off?"
"Instantly. She doesn't know - but I've already seen everything."
Awesome. Think it's my favourite episode. That or the Kemp one. The only one that I didn't love was the Les Dennis one. Don't think I 'got' it.
Last nights episode was just superb.
The part where they was in the BBC office;
"Aww, give us a huggles, all is well!"
- "OK"
Andy to other guy: "Just normal, yeah?"
And shakes his hand.
Aahahahahaha.

Of course not. All I was saying is that I'd rather have a few episodes of comedy gold than slowly watch a series die. Like the Simpsons.
Whilst I love "Spaced", I'd rather they left it on it's perfect note than carry on and run it into the ground. So far they have withstanded the temptation. Not they're big Hollywood stars it looks like it'll stay that way too.
But ... them's the breaks. They were all top class anyway.

Whilst this is true, the two aren't mutually exclusive. Particularly with American series, where there tends to be more writers, and team writing is far more common, they don't have a problem knocking out a consistently funny longer series. Curb Your Enthusiam, for instance, 10 episodes a series.
I swear this 6 episodes a series thing is a relatively recent development, but maybe I'm wrong, and six episodes just seemed to last longer when I was younger!
Actually, just checked, the first series of 'Only Fools and Horses' had six episodes.
Ah, the Smoking Room had an eight episode first series.
But clearly counting is only a skill I have recently learnt. ;o)
We also get very poor short series as well. Two Pint of Lager and a Packet of crisps, for instance...

Lesser of great quality is far better than reams of crap.
Look at the Simpsons.
The episode was good, loved the Patrick Stewart bit, the apology ending wasnt great but then I guess they needed to set it up for the second series.
I want more.
