I can't find the other thread, so here's a new one.

"He wont be around for long

What, is it aids?"

"Do funny, Barry

Oi Pat, get of my foot"

Ahaha, I love this show. I really wish I'd seen the Les Dennis one.

Aye, the Simpsons has gone beyond bad ... now it's self-aware of how bad it is, which is infinitely worse, because every single episode seems to have a joke about it ... it's just all rather embarrassing.

They're should be more Troy action and less Tony Hawkness.

In the word of Troy McClure:

"Who knows what adventures they'll have between now and the time the show becomes unprofitable?"

Damn you God for not inventing time travel!

I used to defend the new Simpsons episodes but they are so, so dire now.

They just lose the plot. They have Homer doing stupid things that you know are coming and base the stroy lines on some stupid 'celeb' voice that says something crap.

It's so painful to watch now. Hasn't it got preachy too? I've seen a few of the newer episodes where they openly say "How can you expect something going on so long to retain the quality?". There's this little thing called "dignity", which they've gradually eroded away over the last 8 duff seasons. Less said about the episode where they criticise George Lucas for losing his way, the better - can anyone say "hypocrisy"?

Amen. Same goes for Futurama. Although these new movies are more than welcome.

It had his moments but didn't seem to fit in so well with the rest of series.
