Well, yeah, it doens't start until friday, but I'm going over to my uncle's tonight, going for a few drinks, then we'll be setting off in the morn. So yeha, i thought I'd make a goodbye post and also, hand you all the prospect of meeting me.

If you are going to the Leeds festival and you see an ugly bas like so: http://pic.piczo.com/img/i60603197_39906.jpg, then count yourselves lucky - you've just seen the amazing mattributé! So yeah, come over, give me a hug, invite me back to your tent for the evening and we'll have a real good time.

Word.

the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
someone who bought hot fuss this year
the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
it depends what scene it is. i went to this metal gig.. dont ask why.. but it was full of emo-like scenesters
the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
studded belts, tight jeans
you can't fool me, dennis says:
i know a bloke in college exactly like that
the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
dont get me wrong. im wearing both of those items right now... but not in the same way

also:

the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
theyre the same sort of people as indie scenesters too. like upper-lower class people who buy their tickets early and stuff
the arcadian dream so fallen through says:
but theyve only heard the singles on radio 1

I bought Hot Fuss right at the beginning of the year. Does that make me a bit cooler?

The Cribs are awful. Artic Monkeys - I have no idea. But the Coral like them, and the Coral are ace. Seeing them in your city in October, Matteh.

You said there were scenesters at Monkehs/Cribs.

See you at Leeds Union, I guess. Only don't dance.

I like it. I saw Idlewild there, and my mates saw Ocean Colour Scene. Both gigs got good reports, and I trust the 'wild report, because it was from me.

It's nice and small, and seems to have good acoustics. Tis all I want.

Ah, you think Leeds is my city? Nah, Manchester and Bradford are my cities - I'm not related to Leeds. My mum made me a Leeds fan, y'see - she went in the 70's and it stayed with her. I've been a white ever since I can remember, so yeah. It feels wrong sometimes, when I think about it - Born in Bradford, supporting Leeds, but y'know... you can't choose what your parents force on you.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
