I got this thread idea from a stupid question i asked about y halo was so good but anyway, y didn't they put bots into the sequel that would of made it so much better?

That's a real shame, First Strike has loads of good tidbits, like what happened when Kelly and the other Spartans got on Reach, And MC's nice journey home.

The Flood suck in general.

Awful baddies.

I enjoyed the fall of reach, but the flood sucked big time. It was just the game story, and it wasn't told in any particularly impressive style either.

After that I lost interest in the books.

And be sure to read the books too (or just First Strike) to fill in any gaps.

I'm also looking foward to caressing the lovely goodies in the LE. Mmmm.

Yeah, I'd buy Halo 2 even if it didn't have Live. Such a damn good story. In fact I'll have to get the original back off my mate and get into practise.

Of course. But Live Play shall keep it going forever. Halo single player is just tiresome now, even more so than it was before.......

Don't know about that, the single player storyline will be the most important when I get it. Then Live once I finish it.

Halo 2 would be more than worth the money if I couldn't use Live.

True - 'I don't have Live' is just worthy or knowing mockery, seeing as you'll be missing one of the key bits of the game.
