The sports forum is a great place to be but doesn't have much going on all the time, plus every other forum has one so why can't we?

Maybe with all the replies things will look much more popular

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest footbal match, to the next Olympic games, or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

If anyone else tries to copy this you will fail miserably and i will be forced to laugh at you.

Nuno Valente always a good signing, as is Panucci in the same price brand....(Still talking FM2005 here, right?)

Might be an outside chance of getting Nuno Valente who's fairly cheap at just under £1M and might step down from the top flight as he's fairly old.

Sorry, meant when you are in the Championship as Wolves. All they have is Lee Naylor, and is hard to get any other left backs in who are good.

Don't Villa have Samuel and Barry though? They're pretty good. Barry made my 2006 World Cup team when I was playing my England game.

Always find it hard to get left backs on the game.

Insanely, I have Lee Briscoe playing left-back in my Exeter game, which is in the first season in the conference.

I think I have experienced the worst of unhappy players, however. In my Chelsea game, I brought in Chivu to replace Bridge, which Bridge wasn't too happy about. So I sold Bridge to Parma a month and a half before the transfer window opened and he could go. In that time I put Bridge in with the reserves and brought in the legend that is Christian Pander as my sub left-back.

From that point onwards, Bridge complained every day until he left that he wasn't getting enough "first-team action" and was "considering leaving". Even more annoying yet, he continued to act totally bemused as I repeatedly fined him for this unprofessional behaviour...

Yeah, that get's on my nerves aswell. Villa have a small squad so I get 3 or 4 players in and a few of them become unhappy, because there is too much competition.

Also hate it when a player misses training, you fine them and some of the become unhappy because they are treated unfairly.

Don't think I can do the Cambridge challenge. Wouldn't have a clue who to buy. Probably buy Tim Lovejoy as a laugh.

Is Trundle any good?

One thing that *really* pissses me off is when players get upset when new one's are brought in because their position is threatened EVEN WHEN I'M NOT GOING TO USE THEM THERE.

Case in point, in my third season as Cambridge and, having finally managed to get some money for transfers (thankyou John Turner and Luke Guttridge) I sign Alexis Nicholas. Excellent. I also need a new left back as Lee Briscoe decided to leave to Sunderland on a free (ungreatful b'tard). So I bring in Joe Keenan. Excellent. But Alexis Nicholas gets annoyed because Keenan can also play as DM and now Nicholas wants to leave the club! Despite the fact that both Keenan and Nicholas have played every game so far with Keenan ONLY AS A LEFT BACK.
