Hella weird film.
Kinda disturbing, in an odd sort of way. Gonna have to buy it I think and watch it again - try and make sense of it.
I am suprised though that all independent film makers haven't taken note and realised that if they want their films to do well, they must include an angsty teen and make the ending incredibly vague and verging on stupid.
That way all the gothic losers out there will spoon with the DVD disk and tell all their friends that the film works on different levels and if you didn't enjoy it, you clearly aren't on the right plain of thought and didn't understand the storyline.

No I imagine we're all lovers of movies.
It was in response to the Shitznit review or what have you, which claimed only certain people enjoy Donnie Darko and I was neither of these "people", just a lover of movies.
Is that quote you did supposed to be your opinion or some sort of ironic point? I said "I understood it fine" to dismiss the idea that I don't like it because I didn't understand it.
You're worse than Richard Kelly.
