During a very fun meeting had today at SR Towers, the current sudoku 'craze' was discussed. It was work-related, honest.
Strangely, both smv and myself were entirely ignorant as to this phenomenon. We'd absolutely never heard of it, despite being informed that it's absolutely everywhere right now.
Personally, the idea of doing maths puzzles is as appealing to me as gouging out my own eyes, so even if I was aware of it I would have just ignored it, but are smv and I the only ones in the world never to have heard of sudoku?

Yeah loads of people at work have been doing these. I attempted my first one today and completed it. Looks harder than it is!
The big one the give you in The Times on Saturday is the best by teh way.
And it's not that difficult.
Better than a crossword as they usually require you to know something.

it's nice to know that staff members talk about important things in meetings.
I love how every single person who discovers there's numbers in it thinks it some sort of maths.
It's just numbers, it could be letters, or shapes, or anything that looks distinctively different.

I'm annoyed it's dominating space in the T2 when I want space for my crossword.
The good old crossword has served us loyally for many a year now, why try and replace it with a box of numbers?
