Strangely, both smv and myself were entirely ignorant as to this phenomenon. We'd absolutely never heard of it, despite being informed that it's absolutely everywhere right now.
Personally, the idea of doing maths puzzles is as appealing to me as gouging out my own eyes, so even if I was aware of it I would have just ignored it, but are smv and I the only ones in the world never to have heard of sudoku?
And it's not that difficult.
Better than a crossword as they usually require you to know something.
It's sickening getting to the last word and it's some guy from 60 years ago who played a flute left handed or something.
It's just numbers, it could be letters, or shapes, or anything that looks distinctively different.
The good old crossword has served us loyally for many a year now, why try and replace it with a box of numbers?
