Let me rephrase that: What species are penguins?

Mammals?

Nope, penguins lay eggs - do any other mammals?

Birds?

Not a chance, penguins have fur. (edit: this was the incorrect bit, they DO have feathers!)

Reptiles?

Hmmm.

Dinosaur?

Anyone know, I can't be bothered to search Google, and other people need to know this sort of thing.

That's what I thought. Looked it up now, apparently they're "Aves", which is a set that includes birds.
