Oh yeah, and I only passed my test 9 days ago.

6 days actually, it happened on Friday.

Well, I was speeding a bit down a straight road (it's a back road so it's a 60 limit), and when i came to the corner I wanted I braked but the wheel locked and stupidly, instead of going straight on I tried to turn and went straight into the embankment at the side.
It looks OK superficially (althought eh airbag smashed the windscreen on teh passengers side), basically everything underneath the registration plate up to the front wheels are gone, but because the car went up teh embankment we think the engine etc have been pushed up a bit into the car, and whatever bar holds up the engine is all twisted.
I have doubts that it's actually written off, but we can't open up the bonnet to really see what's up (it's stuck), we could only look underneath it.

What a coincidence, my friend crashed in East Kilbride (near the bowling alley)

Just off of Barrhead.

Ah, that explains it, I thought you had some sort of stunt jump at teh edge of your house.
Where is Neilston?
What happened then?

A back road between Neilston and Newton Mearns.
Oh, and the car's written off.
But the airbags came out, so it was quite fun.
Yay.
Won't do it again though.
I nearly crashed into my bedroom last night.
I put the handbrake on... but when I took my foot off the brake it started rolling. I put them back on again with about an inch to spare.
We have a slope on our drive way and my room is downstairs incase you're wondering.
:0) Nae luck
tut tut.
