To be expected really. Just look at the PS2 when it was unveiled...
The RARE games Kameo and Perfect Dark i had been waiting for on the gamecube and look forward to these.
Pro Evo is on Xbox and will no doubt come out on 360, and Final Fantasy is coming out on Xbox360 now.
Also GTA comes out on Xbox, so all the games i would want a PS3 for are on or will be on Xbox 360, so i'll be getting a 360 to sit next to my Revolution.

And everyone knows Sony's show was FMV, even GamerTV, which is usually glued to Sony's ringpiece 365 days a year, made a very big point of stating that Sony's stuff was FMV and NOT REAL.
In-game footage does the business. Microsoft are taking an honest approach so far and that's all they have to do besides getting loads of hype up at the time of release because they've months before the PS3 hits the shelves.
Words and movies versus actual games you can buy and play come november?
No contest.
It was, in fact, a Scottish company specialising in pre-rendered cut-scenes. They are the same company Sony used to make the cut-sequences for the original Killzone game, I guess that's maybe inside industry information and why I'm a little more privvy to it than others.
That info might be out there on the net, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, the GPU for the PS3 wasn't even in production come E3, nor was the Cell processor, so everything you have seen from the PS3 so far is all a load of simulation and make believe :).
That's where Microsoft went wrong, they went realistic expectations of first generation software, whilst Sony put on a show which couldn't hope to be matched. But then again, it's still a good nine months from release so a lot could happen.
Personally, I think the Xbox 360 looks a more promising game console. Whilst the PS3 will be the expensive powerhouse this time round.
[EDIT] The Scottish company who made the Killzone 2 trailer is called Axis Animation :). Just remembered that :). They do not make real time graphics packages, but cut-scenes.

Yup, turns out they were showing some hi spec demos using technology that ain't even in the PS3. Damn Sony and their bloody lies.

Try looking at some of the titles coming out for it then: Ghost Recon 3, Oblivion, Perfect Dark Zero...
Oblivion alone should make it worth getting the console as it's looking excellent and is set in a huge world for players to explore. Not a brilliant explanation, just go and look at the game on IGN for yourself.
If you've got the patience to wait for the PS3 then fair enough, personally I'll be playing on my 360 way before the PS3's released.
But I won't be buying the 360 just because it's released earlier. As far as I could see, the Xbox didn't have too much going for it apart from Xbox Live, so I never bought one. The 360 will have to do more than just be first in the queue.
I know when the 360 launches we're going to get buried under mounds of hype-crap spewed at us from every direction.
What I do like is the current stance which is relying on in-game footage to make most of the impact. That's how it should be: games looking fun to play whilst actually being game footage.
Hard to be cynical when they are actually showing you the proper product without garnish.
Me like.
