Can somebody tell me everything I need to know about WiFi routers, I want to get one so I can play with my PSP online but I dont really understand how it works.

Im expecting it to be really complicated so i'd like to know more about it.

Couple of questions:

How much can I get one for?

How do I set it all up?

Actually, I have one more:

Where would you recommend I get one?

And any other things I should know?

Thanks!

Thanks.

I'll probably get this then.

And at least if it doesn't work I can return it to a reliable company.

I use my Ethernet port on my router to connect my laptop, but seeing as i'll be using my Laptop wirelessly I will have a port free.

That would work, but it connects one device to your PC, apparently.

The buffallo one I've posted the link to will connect you your router, and then let any wireless devices connect to the network you already have, but it needs a free port on your router to plug into.

Right, if your router has a spare ethernet socket, all you need is a wireless bridge to plug into it :D.

There is one I found, this one:

That's onsale somewhere at only £25. I could post it here, but they'd warn me for linking to competitor websites even though they don't sell what you want.

Well, im not sure, I asked the same question on a different forum and they said it wasn't a router.

But i've just looked at the Box it came in and it says BT Voyager 205 ADSL Router so it must be a router.

I'll tell you what, take a look at this: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=8997

The cheapest 802.11g router I've found on a rival website is £54.99 without delivery costs added.

Right, the WRT one is for people with cab;le modems, the WAG one has a built in ADSL modem, which is what you need ;).
