Can somebody tell me everything I need to know about WiFi routers, I want to get one so I can play with my PSP online but I dont really understand how it works.

Im expecting it to be really complicated so i'd like to know more about it.

Couple of questions:

How much can I get one for?

How do I set it all up?

My house is exactly 32 years and 6 days old. So it's not exactly new. I think i'll probably be able to play it downstairs in the living room which is underneath my bedroom (where the access point will be).

I should be moving soon anyway, and into a new house.

Depends on the house, whether you have solid brick walls between rooms etc. I live in a fairly new house, and the walls are nearly paper thin so I get a 65% signal in my back garden, which is quite good.

Another thing, how far will the signal reach? Will it just be in one room or the whole house?
