The Gamecube looks to have the power and games to wipe the floor with the rest of the consoles. I think the Gamecube's up-to-date technology will mean its only competition will be the X-box. The Ps2 might aswell be taken out of the shops when the Gamecube is released!

The PS2 will have a strong user base by the time the GAMECUBE is released here.

It will still sell well though as it's targetting a slightly different market.

As the ps2 will already be strong in the Xbox's market, it will struggle to gain a foothold. Probably.

I'm buying a GAMECUBE because I like the look of the games that are coming out for it, simple as that.

Have you not learn anything from the flop that was the n64. It was more powerful than the psx and yet it still didnt sell as many because of the sheer amount of top quality and revolutionary games that appeared on the psx month after month. Power doesnt mean anything and the ps2 has got a very bright future ahead of it, I am an owner of a ps2 and i am planning on purchasing a GC when released. I think that microsoft will lose millions from the XBOX and that it will be the 2nd biggest flop in gaming history (next to the DC). The battle will be between the GC and The PS2 but i think that the ps2 will come out on top :-)
