3 tube station closed because of "incidents"
Anybody know what's going on, or is it just precaution?

That's the most info I've found so far. Doesn't give a huge amount of detail.

I'd agree with Your Honour. It sounded like the arrests earlier were at times when the police may have had a chance to use less violent methods of capture. Presumably the bombers don't walk around wearing bombs the whole time, so the situation was less likely to become immediately dangerous when compared with the tube incident last week.

Having said that, wasn't there something about an unidentified package... still, that may have been kept seperate from the bomber. Hard to make proper judgements without more facts.

If they thought he didn;t have a bomb on him, then a taser is safe.
If they thought the Brazillian had a bomb on him, then perhaps a taser could have interferred with the electronics / wiring and set it off? Perhaps it wouldn't have worked in time?

Not having a go here, just offering suggestions as to why one was taken safely and the other is dead.

Back on topic...

One of the suspected bombers arrested today; subdued with a TASER.

So...could they not have used that on the Brazilian chap? Or do they just not care as much about Brum blowing up?

Go easy on the guy Light.
Yeah, his "terrorists need shooting" sounded a bit suspect but I he meant "I'd rather they got shot than I did", and perhaps he'd do well to look at the details of the situation and think whether the police were "careful" enough but it's not like he was talking about "punishment".

And as to the faith, how long's it been since he tried to preach/convert/tell us what to believe etc...
I mean, give the guy a chance to breath... :-)
