"Earl Hebner was fired by WWE Monday after allegedly selling merchandise without authorization.
Dave Hebner has NOT been fired although he has apparently been disciplined for being a part of the act.
Hebner had refereed most main events on PPV for the past decade. More as we get it."
Seems awfully harsh for someone who's been with the company for 20 years. I'm angry.

As I understand it he owns a few shops and was selling WWE goods without getting permission from Vince - good move, undercutting your boss. Dave Hebners left now but Earl's son is still a referee at this moment in time

I think it's quite fair. If any of us started taking stuff home from where we work and selling it, we'd all expect to get fired too. Why should Earl be any different?
