Right, I may be reading too far into this, but did Oh Dae-Su ever leave the cell? The only time we ever see him outside is during the hypnosis session, when he's suddenly on the roof with a suitcase! Where did that come from? Is it possible the whole thing was in his mind as some elaborate control experiment to keep him mentally sound? Lots of unanswered questions that support my theory, not going to nerd over it, just wondering if anyone else got that impression.

Whatever, it's a really, really good film, and I encourage all y'all to rent it.

EDIT: I'll have to watch it again before it goes back, I kept noticing little hints here and there to suggest it's all set-up to push him in certain directions.

Ah, so it is just a really good revenge flick then. So he simply appeared on the roof? Finding a suitcase along the way? There were too many loose ends like that which made me think it was heading somewhere else.
