Unfortunately I know what happens.. thanks to the brilliance of the internet I had some spoilers thrust at me earlier. An important character turns bad and kills another important character, something I could have done without knowing, but still.
Anyone else looking forward to it?
Tphi's topic gave me a little more than I wanted to know (a good guy turns bad) but I wasn't 100% sure who.
Talking of the 5th book, I think that the problem it had was that the fourth one had built up to Voldemort being unleashed into the real world, that it was about to get really dark and intense.
Then the next one comes along and the best Voldemort does is give Harry a few nightmares (although he does manage to set up that ambush right at the end) so the lord of darkness ends up getting completely overshadowed by the stupid bint Umbridge. Bit of an anti-climax in that respect.
Although looking back, that whole DA stuff and showing up of the Ministry of Magic was fairly important.
**SPOILERS**
After crying wolf in every other book, Harry's finally got it right about Snape and Malfoy and nobody believes him. What did everyone make of that note in the locket?
I'm thinking it's from Siruis brother who'd been killed for deserting the Death Eaters at some point. I can see his "history" leading Harry for clues to where the rest of those Horcrux things are.
> What did everyone make of that note in the locket?
R.A.B is Regulus Black, methinks. They found a "heavy locket no one could open" when cleaning the Black household in book 5.
And I think Harry is a horcrux. *Nods*
Regulus said something about "breaking" it though.
Perhaps he broke the "Horcrux" spell without damaging the artifact.
As to Harry being a Horcrux, the prophesy says something only one of them can survive, so I'm not sure if Harry could be holding any of Voldemorts vitality.

It says they both can't live together for long, ie. they'll have to face each other eventually and at least one of them will die.
My thoughts are that Harry is a Horcrux because Voldemort did indeed put part of him in Harry (hence he is a Parseltongue). Therefore Harry will need to die for Voldemort to be compeletely destroyed.
Harry was the last one, wasn't he.
Perhaps there's some law of magic nature where a 7th splitting of a soul will cause some kind of "one" to restore balance.
Now what did that sound more like? Starwars or the Matrix? :-)
