Games are alike everything we use and play in the world, they are given a rating, commented on, and then left for the public to buy and decide, however it has come to my attention that with these ratings and what-nots, can gaming actually get better then what we have already had?

I really am not to sure, when we find a game we love, these games only come once every few years, but I really couldn't say which was my best game comparing Secret Of Mana and Zelda Ocarina of Time, thinking about it I played and received the same levels of enjoyment from both games, hell if I was to go with one it would denfinetely be the Snes Classic because with a multitap and a couple of friends 'nothing' beats it for gameplay and lastibility.

Therefore I really can't see us being that much more amazed in the games we play in the future, sure they can have superb graphics, because they will always get better, but for all other aspects of the game I can't see me enjoying anything in the future more than the old classics first time around.

Games in the future better be worth the wait, its been a long time (CBFD the exception) since I was trying to pick my mouth of the floor when playing a game, nothing in the past twelve months has impressed me that much... and I hope something does in the future, because I have waited long enough!

Thanks

But to be able to use your skill, your speed, and the like you will need a certain amount of intelligence or nothing would work!

It isn't just intelligence you use in a game it is skill, speed, accuracy etc.

Also on certain sites there have been news about games that have AI skills better than the average gamers intelligence and most modern ones and in the future they will usually be 99.999% human intelligence!

This is true. Everyone says "Why aren't thre any original games?" but there is a finite amount of original ideas.

Its not the games deterarating, its just our "wow" factor dissapearng. nothin is like the first time, and when you do it again and again it gets boring. Nowadays game have to be very very original to make an imapct.

In my eyes a good game is one that lasts for absolutely yonks and is still fun.

Therefore, games can always get better with new storage mediums. Imagine: SSX with 200+ tracks!!!!!!! HEAVEN!!!!!!!!

Oops i clicked on "POST THIS MESSAGE" by mistake, so i'll continue my post.

It seems that it may take a couple of years, before another great/amazing game is released, but it may be to late for me or you, because that will be when someone like us (even one of us) is making this game.

Think about it in the future, we won't be able to play computer games as much as we do, we will be working hard to keep an honest lifestyle. And this is what the gaming companies don't realise, the people who are keeping them alive won't be around forever.

So what i'm trying to say is that we need these games now not 10 years or so in the future.

I really hope we don't get a Tomb Raider 17, or a Who Wants To Be a Millionaire: OAP's Edition, or that'll be the end of proper gaming forever.

I know what you mean er-no, time and time again i have played games, which has brought to mind a sense of déja-vu, and now with the generation of eager gamers such as me and you the gaming industry can't afford to bring out title after title of virtually the same game.

As er-no said, i have waited at least 12 months for a great game to be released (and i mean a great game), but there is nothing. Ok, ok Conkers Bad fur day, an original title full of toilet humour and movie spoofs, but still a sense of Déja-vu, oh yeah, and what really is it's lastability rating?? All i can say is that it is good for a laugh.

What about Final Fantasy IX?? you ask. Well yes this is another top title, but isn't there a sense of Final Fantasy 7 & 8 in there somewhere.

As it seems, games now a days just aren't getting better, well in a matter of fact the are slowly deteriorating, with the matter of one or two good games every six months or so.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
