If I wanted to recieve telesales and telemarketing calls, how do I get my name on the list?

I know, by hanging up it's great encouragement for businesses to press harder, putting their names up for harassment charges.

There is actually an organisation you can register your phone number with to prevent telesales calls. If you then get a call, the caller can be fined for it.

Just interested.

A lot of the telesales calls are quite interesting if people would listen long enough.

There are some many arrogant rude people out there, and by hanging up it's no wonder they get 20 a day.

Usually if you give your number to a company and ask that they share your details, it'll get passed on to just about every damn telemarketing organisation in the world.

Why would you want to though? Usually people can't be rid of them fast enough...

No...you have to give your number somewhere. I don't know though.
