Fantastic Four? I don't think so. I've never been less excited about a big summer action blockbuster than I have this. It looks awful.
The Wedding Crashers? Will probably elicit a few laughs mostly down to Vince Vaughn, but it'll be the same as all the other Frat Pack movies - cameos from all their buddies and a nice, warm, sickly ending.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Four words: Planet of the Apes. I don't trust Burton anymore and love the original film, so I'm dreading this being sub-par. Looks alright from the trailers, but why remake an almost perfect film?
The Descent? Looking forward to it a little more after watching Dog Soldiers last night, but it still looks like a low-budget, schlock-horror movie where a ragtag group of heroes club together to blah blah blah.
Madagascar? Kids film. Shrek 2 was terrible, I don't expect this to be a great leap. And I'm getting sick of Ben Stiller now.
Dark Water? Another Japanese remake. Yawn. Jennifer Connolly looks bored no matter what she does.
I could go on. What bugs me is that the films I am interested in seeing won't ever be released in my local cinemas - DiG!, Kung Fu Hustle, Overnight, Clean... none of them dare show their face around Harlow. My locals are still showing Star Wars and Batman, several weeks after release. Way to go.

Yeah, but he's made Big Fish since then.
Sure it wasn't a remake, but he redeemed himself with that.
Still, Land of the Dead, phew.
Think i'll go and see Batman tonight, sitting round the house is driving me nuts.
£7 though, the money grabbing bast...

Damn damn damn damn, I knew I meant to tape something but completely forgot. Too busy running old people over in San Andreas

Star Wars is still making big money so why take it out, and if you can find a single cinema in the country that isn't showing Batman I'd be surprised. It hasn't been out that long.
