I'm really looking forward to seeing War of the World, I'll probably go and see it tonight or sometime at the weekend. But after that, there really aren't any movies that I'm massively looking forward to until, I don't know, maybe even King Kong in December. I've waited for Star Wars and Batman and was very satisfied with both of them, and from the looks of it, WOTW is superb. But then what?

Fantastic Four? I don't think so. I've never been less excited about a big summer action blockbuster than I have this. It looks awful.

The Wedding Crashers? Will probably elicit a few laughs mostly down to Vince Vaughn, but it'll be the same as all the other Frat Pack movies - cameos from all their buddies and a nice, warm, sickly ending.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Four words: Planet of the Apes. I don't trust Burton anymore and love the original film, so I'm dreading this being sub-par. Looks alright from the trailers, but why remake an almost perfect film?

The Descent? Looking forward to it a little more after watching Dog Soldiers last night, but it still looks like a low-budget, schlock-horror movie where a ragtag group of heroes club together to blah blah blah.

Madagascar? Kids film. Shrek 2 was terrible, I don't expect this to be a great leap. And I'm getting sick of Ben Stiller now.

Dark Water? Another Japanese remake. Yawn. Jennifer Connolly looks bored no matter what she does.

I could go on. What bugs me is that the films I am interested in seeing won't ever be released in my local cinemas - DiG!, Kung Fu Hustle, Overnight, Clean... none of them dare show their face around Harlow. My locals are still showing Star Wars and Batman, several weeks after release. Way to go.

Madagascar is really well down, a lot of it I was laughing my ass off for, like the penguins.

The models and animation is brilliant, some of the fast animation is spot on for how animals move, it's one of those films where you can tell someone spent a some time looking at footage of some animals just to get the 5 seconds were they run properly done really well.

Hair and fur are great all the way through and the changes in the lion are a really nice touch as the story progresses.

Take a look at some indi films, or else rent some DVDs of stuff you haven't seen.

Madagascar looks quality. i bet it gets ruined with a crappy plot, that seems to get taint 80% of all animated movies.

Wedding Crashers does indeed look pretty good, but you're right about the predictibly twee ending.

Land of the Dead isn't out until fooking September. It'll most likely be out on DVD in America before we get it over here.

Kung Fu Hustle was great, i'm sure it on't make it to any of the cinemas around here, due to townies and scum that arnt interested in seeing something different for a change.

I always wanted to see G.O.R.A in a cinema but i guess i never will :(

Not sure, it's a horror movie about 6 girls who get stuck in a cave and eaten.
