What medicine would you recommend when a kid gets a fever and stuff like that?

And tips for calming kids down when they get into a strop or getting them out of a sulk?

And can you really get kids to eat green food?!

Cheers

Would that be you making the children more fun, or the greens?

She's probably babysitting or something. Any way the best way to keep children happy is a good dvd and some junk food. Works on me everytime.

Getting kids to eat veg is all about persistence. Studies show it can take up to fifteen presentations of the food on their plate before a young child will even contemplate putting it in their mouth (even though give 'em a toy it goes straight in there). So keep putting it on the plate, and eventually they'll give it a try.

Also, why should they eat it if you're not? Hardly fair, is it. Make sure there's plenty of veg on your plate.

Medicine wise, kids nurofen liquid isn't bad, Calpol is best though. I believe they now do an Ibuprofen - Calbuprofen - for kids.

You'll just have to stick with it then.

Or you can offer them desserts on a sliding scale, depending upon how much veg they eat.

None = Some fruit
A Little = yoghurt
Lots = cake/ chocolate
All = Ice cream

Depending upon their preferences. That way they get a choice, and it's not like you're just telling them what to do.
