Absolutely fantastic, loved every second of it and I've seen it twice already. Everything is explained down to the smallest detail and yet it still manages to lose none of its mystique. Probably the most enjoyable film I've seen this year, up there with Sin City and Star Wars.

And indeed it was, even if it was a teensy-weensy bit long...even so, there's nothing I'd like to be seen taken out. It was all gravy.
The evil hallucinogenic effects ruled muchly. The Evil Scarecrow was awesome, as was Evil Batman flying along the streets with his evil eyes. Evil.

Hehe i just read this thread and thats what i was thinking, star wars :( and yet sin city was quite good.
Will go see it for myself and just hope Snuggly was wrong about it being on par with episode 3
