The considering is the again part, you see? No? Damn.
Anyway, does anyone know of some serious compatibility issues I have to know before taking this on.
Like between HDD and motherboard or something?
I know that the processor has to fit the mobo and that's about it.
:)
*******
Also, would it be possible to build a Windows Media Centre computer?

Of course...

There'll be a heatsink with that CPU because it's retail.
I'd be careful about 60mm, because most cases support 80mm or 120mm fans.

What do I need in the form of cooling? I've got 2 60mm fans on there as an idea, but do I need a heat sink or something?

I've just been looking at some beastly 15,000rpm HDDs available over the pond. My mouth is watering.
:D
That breezes easily twice as fast as the 7,000rpms!
And 10000rpm isn't that much faster than 7200rpm when it comes to loading times either, especially when you intend to play games that don't require much loading.
:D
None of this "WE SAP YOUR RESOURCE BF 86" stuff.
EDIT:
Yet.
:D
> 2 to 3 games (1GB absolute max per game)
Haha. What games exactly are you hoping to play?
I'll have about 40GB music in total.
Next to no video.
Windows XP.
2 to 3 games (1GB absolute max per game)
That's well short of 80-100GB.
> I won't need that much space.
Haha .. how many times have we all said that and then you end up filling a disk up :)
I bought a 120gb HD about 6 months ago because I started doing video editing .. it's now got about 20gb left with 50gb taken up with mp3s :)
I'm gonna have to get meself a new computer very soon, with alot more space :D

They haven't got great after sales customer service, that's the problem. If something does give up or break then the returning process is or does need sorting. I think they've grown quicker than they could imagine and haven't got the staff there to follow up problems.
I don't think everyone thinks that all products from Ebuyer break as soon as you get them, if they do I don't know why, I've built probably 4 or5 PCs now for friends with all parts from them and they are all going strong.
You always hear about the bad side of companies and never the good side, although saying that .. I too have had a couple of bad experiences with them but usually end up going back because of the prices.
