I have for about 3 months.
I've got a 56k modem, as I'm sure most of you have, but really, when you think about it, 56k nowadays isn't really fast enough, is it? When you're trying to download a big game demo which is often around 50mb - 100mb+ it takes too long, and now all types of files are constantly getting larger.
I wanted to get ADSL or some other broadband connection, but me dad said no because of the price, and I'm really the only person who uses the internet now.
Can't they bring out a faster default modem, like a 112k, which isn't a ISDN. The connection speed really needs to be faster for you to benefit the rapidly growing file sizes these days. It doesn't have to be lightning fast like ADSL, but just faster.
Sorry for making this a bit long!
Swish
(And if you did, it would be a bit of a poor punchline to an already poor joke.)
Alright. Glad you're back to correct my uselessness.
(I don't know how you survived without me.)
My 56k is amazing. It doesn't act like a 56k. I am going to get ADSL, IF BT EVER GET THEIR FINGERS OUT!!!!!!!
Especially with a 56k modem. :-)
