Nope.
We did sign the Magna Carta, but that bears little relevance to the laws today.
It's a common misconception that we, like America, have inalienable rights set into a document. We don't.
They could impose martial law tomorrow and take away all your books and whatnot and there's nothing, legally, you can do about it.
