There's so many people in here who like so many bands, I'm sure between us we've been to many many concerts. I'm just getting into live music, but it really excites me, and I was basically thinking we should have one thread to discuss all forms of live music.
A few discussion starters to get you going:
- Most memorable gig experience? Band or song or moment?
- Worst gig experience?
- Gigs going to in the near future?
- Gigs you'd love to go to but missed out on?
- A little shortlist of the gigs you've been to?
- Craziest gig experience?
- Favourite venue?

You don't have to stick to these questions, any point you have is welcomed.

Black Sabbath were amazing at Download last week. :D As were SOAD and Slipknot. Also Metallica and SOAD at Leeds Festival 03. Oh, and Fozzy earlier this year!

- Worst gig experience?
Errr, not sure. Worst well known bands I've probably seen that were bad were Sum 41 and Biffy Clyro back at Leeds Festival 03. Although Biffy seemed quite good last week at Download and I get to see Sum 41 again next month.. Still liked seeing both bands, just seemed a bit disappointing.

- Gigs going to in the near future?
Bullet for my Valentine in July, Sum 41 in July and the Leeds Festival. :)

- Gigs you'd love to go to but missed out on?
Download 04. Metallica, Slipknot and Korn all on the same day? And I missed it. Bah! Suppose I went to this years Download though, which with SOAD, Slipknot and Slayer all on the same day, makes up for it a little bit.

- A little shortlist of the gigs you've been to?
Ooo, I could go on forever...

It's just a great venue.

I don't think I've found another more intimate venue where big names will play. Except Fabric. Maybe.

And No Comly. And Million Dead. And Capdown.

Loving the fact that they're actually putting some UK bands on at the CJ this year. Usually it's only one UK act opening at the start of the day.

Pitchshifter at the Big Day out in Milton Keynes

This summer I fear when I go to see Eminem on the Anger Management tour. Gonna have to sit through 50 Cent and Lil John to get to the good stuff and even then I fear he may only do song from encore.

Kanye West and Talib Kweli in Brixton

Jazz Cafe opposite Camden Town Tube Station is amazing, so nicely intimate.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
