I'm not sure why women get so bothered about the fact that they're not married...

after all if you force the guy to marry you, then it's not really the big commitment that you want it to be...

He'll just see it as a ring and a signature on a bit of paper. He's just as likely to cheat or dump you, or hump the dog or whatever...

Surely it means more if you let him do it in his own time?
