He was quite grumpy before, but he was getting used to us, and he'd come and sit next to us, even turning his back or lying as flat as he could get (a sign of complete trust, apparently). But now he won't come near me. Worse still, I can't get him out his cage today (he's normally out 9am - midnight, later than most of you!) because someone is coming round to install Sky Digital and he'd probably bite their neck off.
Combine that with us reducing his food because he's quite the tubster, and he must think that we hate him.
*sniff*
I have 2 goldfish with no names. They've been alive for over two years, I cleaned them yesterday and now they're swimming about like happy little fellows.

Why is 'you' there instead of 'show'?
One day I came downstairs and looked into the cage to see Bubble looking very happy with himself. Next to bubble was a little rope-like thing. Where was Squeek? Turns out Bubble had a little midnight feast.
Poor Squeek :(
They may have been gerbils, actually.

Had one. Nasty little git.
Got up just as I was going to bed and gnawed all bloody night usually.
