I was just thinking that a supposedly moral party must haev some kind of front they show to the public, and I was interested to see what it was.

The KKK come across as surprisingly un-hateful. That may just be cos they're being compared to an even more lunatic fringe than they are.

Just got back from Florida, and they were having an auction of KKK apparel. It was bought by a museum for Civil Rights. HA!

Oddly, I read this thread earlier, and every time I think of the KKK, I think of the bit in Blazing Saddles.
Now, when I was downstairs making dinner, my mum was watching Richard and Judy, and Gene Wilder was on, and they showed that clip from teh film.

Weird.
