"Harrison then confirmed that past-gen, Nintendo-created titles will indeed be downloadable for free."
Well, this is a minor bonus. The thing is, though, it's only talking about Nintendo-created titles. Which could potentially narrow the list of titles available down to about 20. Meh.
Also, the fact that this is probably the best Revolution news so far is also a little concerning...
Also whicever developer made the game owns the rights to its code, so Nintendo can't sell any games that it does not own. If they can claim they own the copywright to GOldeneye then they can sell it, but I'm 100% sure it belongs to Rareware.

That game RULES. :) I downloaded it after playing ToS. I managed to find a ROM with an english translation, and I can't stop playing it. I have exams in just over a week, but meh.
*note irony

It would be nice to be able to play Super Mario RPG...
Therefore, just like Nintendo can re-release Rareware made games such as Donkey Kong Country, couldn't they technically provide Goldeneye for download for the Revloution?
The answer is probably no, as EA have the Bond rights, but say an SR branch find an unsold new copy of the N64 game, they would still be able to sell that, and Nintendo will have already made their gain...
I'm just being hopefull I thnk...
Look how well the NES classics series did.
