...I have to say this.

Big Brother is on tonight. Why do I get all excited when I know I will only watch the first 2 weeks worth?

Also, this is great because this year I'll have cable, and watching Big Brother live is fantastic for those nights I find it hard to sleep.

Watching other people sleep...

The fact that television has stooped to live coverage of 16 people sleeping is almost enough to give me Bruce Banner esque rage.

Let me ask you people a question. Why do you all find it hard to enjoy a show about chavs ripping each other to shreds and humiliating themselves on natinal television?

Big Brother is in a League of its own, up there with such tv greats as 'Trisha' and 'Kilroy'.

As a television station you really know you've made it when you're pumping up top quality, adrenaline charged, programmes such as 'Big Brother' and 'Hollyoaks' on a daily basis

Big Brother live is dross personified, an awful, awful programme with nothing to show except fallen celebrities eating and generally being absolute rejects.

And what other TV programme can hold such large audiences for 9 weeks straight? None. Channel 4 are just being sensible, if you had a prgoramme that made so much money then you'd continue to show it as well.
