Wow, apparently they're evil, and anyone who wears them becomes evil. I better burn all of mine before I throw fireworks at cyclists, or take a chainsaw to a lamp post.

Sounds interesting I might try it too, although I often do wear one.
Another thing is, a large majority of coats have hood, but no one complained about that.

I'd probably argue back if I was wearing a hooded top and some shopping centre guy told me I wasn't welcome.

Infact, I might see if I've got a hoodie (wearing hood down) and I'll see if anything happens when I'm in town tomorrow...

Hmm, I know they have had a bad reputation set. Yet, we shouldn't stereotype. The only possible problem of them I can think of is they cover up your face, but if worn down there shouldn't be a problem..

How many old people do you see congregating in gangs all wearing a similar uniform of black hooded tops?

A gree the hoodies themselves aren't the problem. It's the people wearing them. I mean, people wouldn't fear them if they didn't have reason to. So unfortunately, due to some idiots with too much time/mitching off of school who happen to be wearing hoodies, everyone gets tarred with the same brush.

It's been going on quite some time now, a while back when I was 14 i had a hoody, with the hood down and went into the petrol station not only did security follow me to the counter, but they searched me outside. It must be the age, I've never seen an old person get searched..

Darth Vader wears a hoody.
I guess they just didn't want any Jedi mind tricks going on. :-)

Seriously though, which celebrity has to be murdered before the majority of society sits up and admits there's a problem?

It looks like an explosion on the set of Rainbow burnt the remains of all 3 puppets onto Jeffrey's face. He now lives below the set like in Phantom of the Opera.

Ahahahhaha, that's great. It's like they think he's some sort of chav Samson.
Seriously though, obscuring his appearance could let him break the exclusion zone thingiemajig if no-one recognises him. But why stop there?
