Heard all of these, what are your opinions?

-Green to leave Norwich
-Milan bidding for Gerrard
-Hargreaves going to Liverpool (ahahaha bad luck Stu)
-Ruud returning to PSV
-Scotty Parker to Villa for 3 million
-Baros to quit Liverpool
-Wenger to quit Arsenal at end of 2006 season

Discuss.

I think Parker should definately leave, he used to be quality. Would love to see Wenger quit, but I don't think it will happen and I can't really see Baros leaving either. Green should definately leave, he's better than Norwich and would Gerrard go to Milan....hmmmm....?

You can't put Arsenal in a European scale...we suck in Europe.

My comparison was more Real vs Chelsea and Arsenal on a European scale.
or Liverpool vs Chelsea and Arsenal on a British scale.

I'd chose Real over 'pool though...

...I like my wheel caps thankyouverymuch.

I guess Madrid just seems more glamorous. I mean take a step back for a second and think Real Madrid or Liverpool. Now which one seems more appealing. For some reason Madrid is the option i'd choose. Can't explain it, personally i think Roberto Carlos' noggin is reflecting hypnotic waves to the world :-D

That's the thing. All my logical answers go out of the window because of some perceived advantage in history which never materialises.

Why come to Arsenal or Chelsea by that reasoning?

Go to Liverpool. After all they have the history...

Because, and i said it in another topic a few days back i think, Real Madrid have the history, they have the glamour and well given a choice between Madrid or London i'd know which i'd pick :-D Not saying it's right, just some reasons

It's all about the image and quite honestly Madrid own you on that as well as everyone else

It still baffles me that players would rather go to Real Madrid than anywhere else. Have these guys been living in a hole for two years? Real Madrid haven't won a title in over two seasons now.

Buffon:
"I would only go to Real Madrid" - but why, though? Juventus are a far more successful team right now and have a bigger future ahead of them at this current moment in time. Don't be such an idiot.

Then you've got idiots like Reyes who seem to think they're going to get into the Real Madrid team. Why can't he understand that he's perfectly fine at Arsenal and has a big future ahead of him there?

Now Robinho. So you're going to get a game over Ronaldo, Raul and now Owen? Riiiiiight.

That's what frustrates me though.

Even to me it was clear Real have the upper hand in any transfer. But why? We have the manager, the board, the players, the future stadium? Everything at Arsenal can only get better here. The club is expanding.

Where as Real will lose Zidane, Figo, Carlos to name a few. Their board is iffy.

Atleast there should be a contest over big-name transfers, but everyone just sees and assumes that Real will win a transfer tug of war.

Robinho doesn't want us.

He wants to go to Real with his Brazillian Bum-chums.

Gah.

He's a bit like Lehmann tbh...he can have some amazing matches where he saves everything but then sometimes he'll be a bit mad and do some silly things. Slightly better than Lehmann, but only slightly...I don't really want him tbh but if we can't find anyone who's really good then he'll have to do.
