It rings a bell in my mind, seems familiar, although it might just be some garbage I subconciously made up. When we did the study we measured velocity with a stopwatch and bits of wood. Hang on while I check my old coursework floppy disk, see if I can find anything.

Hur hur, you're doing the rivers section. That and the rocks section are the most boring. That said, coasts aren't exactly a hoot either. Although glaciation and tectonics are alright.

And in answer to the thread... um... I don't know, I don't do the rivers bit :-D
