Yeah it appeared very briefly at the bottom of one of the shots, very small and easy to miss.

At the end, the DeathStar is under construction. 18 years later it's finally operationable and within a few weeks that pesky Skywalker blows it up. Darth and The Emporer must've been well p*ssed.
