From the bit where he did in the younglins I was welling up thinking 'Must.. hold.. BACK!'

Then when OB1 and Anakin were having their fight... to when he got all manky and then she dies and then her kids get taken away...

Watched it last night...

SIMPLY AWESOME!!!

I could've welled up at the end when Obi Wan gave Luke away and the music kicked in as they looked at the sunset (my favourite bit in the original Star Wars) but I resisted.

The rest was meh. Too much green screen as usual, not enough Wookies, the Obi Wan/Anakin fight was crap, as was Windu/Palpatine.

Yoda sticking his lightsabre in storm troopers (sorry, clone troopers) was good though.

Just the line "noooo" (those who have seen it will know) made me almost cry with laughter.

But the film was incredible. My Star Wars hating girlfriend loved it.

I agree it was awesome, but didn't some of you notice some of the cringe-worthy dialogues and delivery at times?

Don't tell me you saw it without seeing the other five. Pfft.

Just got back from watching it.

I can't say I've ever been a fan of Star Wars but this film was absolutely brilliant.

I think the fact of it being more dark side made things much better.
