2. As they'll only need to port old N64 games with minor upgrades for the touch/dual screen system it wouldn't take much work.
3. It could re-launch franchises that didn't really take off including Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps.
4. They only really need to assign the GBA team to the task. They are quicker than the normal teams and as most of them are ports with updates it shouldn't cost too much money.
5: It'll help counteract the PSP, if the PSP was to fail it'll damage the Playstation brand. Something Microsoft would enjoy.
6: Perfect Dark via wifi is a sign of things to come for PD0.
7: The touch screen could be used as a menu screen with weapons etc... easily accessible. So there too much effort isn't really needed there. Blast Corps could be great with a touch screen!
8: RARE's popularity has taken a knock over recent years. This'll remind consumers of their greatness.
9: It'll allow RARE to develop their beloved Donkey Kong franchise again. Even if it is just a nice port of Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64.
10. Nintendo fans are craving for more RARE, I am craving for more RARE. It'll be a brilliant reason to own a DS. Even a reason to own a DS over home consoles!
Liklihood? Well Microsoft denied that "at this time RARE are not developing any DS games", they didn't say it would never happen just that it isn't.
RARE on the other hand are very quiet on the matter. Since "It's Mr. Pants" RARE's infamous GBA team have not confirmed any new title. In fact now Banjo Pilot and IMP are finished what are they doing.
During a tepid seat interview with the GBA team they were asked if ports of classics like Perfect Dark will make its way over to the DS with special Wi-Fi support. The answer read "sounds good but we're not working on DS games. Or are we? Or are we?". Such throwaway comments that RARE are famous for caused a massive uproar over it. Since then RARE have fallen quiet. When asked RARE will only respond with a "no comment" rather than a "or are we?"
Scribes was recently asked if any games would be made for the PSP and DS. He let slip that it is more likely to be one than the other, before realising he wasn't supposed to be saying anything and kept quiet.
So I think it is highly likely that some of the new games unveiled at E3 by RARE (Conker and Kameo will be out by then)... there will be perhaps DKC3 for the GBA, Perfect Dark 0 for the X-box and maybe a whole host of DS titles.
Watch this space.
If anything I made a point that backs you up.

Apparently, I dont know where these results came from, an article suggests that GC users are an average of 12 whereas PS2 and Xbox users are nearer to 18. Makes no difference to us as wo own and love Nintendo, but it will affect their sales undoubtedly.

Well I was agreeing, I think most people were, in their own special way.

Similar sales, both approx 15 million, but totally different markets. The Xbox aims itself at the affluent, older end of the PS2 buyers scale. The Gamecube is aimed at ki... families.
Well, I was.
I think Cookie was being serious.
Nah, you're a great guy Dringo. If I need Ninty info all I need to do is come to you.
It is an ongoing rumour that RARE are developing N64 ports for the DS...
I write a post identifying 10 reasons why they should and everyone whinges.
My last 5 posts or so have been heavily critical of Nintendo. I write one that has hope attached to it and i'm shouted at!
It's a pretty strong feeling.

Has been for a long time. I just learn to ignore him.

After all, they're more likely to get deals with Nintendo in the future, even though at present I don't feel it necessary for Nintendo. It all depends on how they progress. As for Sony, by increasing their sales, all they do is strengthen a competitor.
