Going through as a fighter-spellcaster (yes they've even dumbed down 'Mage') with the aim of opening some more demon doors and taking over the main town in someway (probably at the end if I can).
I'm a little over 2 hours in and I've got some previously untried spells (early versions of summon, battle charge, beserk etc) which have influenced the fighting greatly - making it worthy of playing through again. Done a lot more thieving this time too (although I still haven't tried the rogue skills yet - archery is also being left for another time: 'Thief-Archer sounds good').
Got into the inn cellar this time, found some new books and items, stumbled on some fishing guy I never met last time around and met another guilder in the inn at night who I'd never seen before.
A nice surprising and entertaining third play through so far.
Fable was ok, nothing special after the first couple of hours. Nowhere near the groundbreaking pants-tightener that Molyneaux spoke of.
Strangely the same story with Black & White. Awesome previews, incredible first couple of hours, staggeringly average after the initial "Wow!" factor had faded.
I expect the same with B&W2 and The Movies.
Lots of hype, lots of promises, decidedly middling game experience
Next gen Fable should be absolute utter gold, though. I'm imagining it to be all that we thought Fable was going to be (Trees growing with age, longing quest, deeper NPC's... all that shiz) and more.
Damn, if you think about it, this has just been a stepping-stone generation. Not quite powerful enough to pull off all our dreams, too strong not to try and pull them off.
Next gen should utterly own this one.

It had better be a bonus disc WITH the sequel.
I'm not paying full whack for an extra third with shinier graphics.

Yeah, just opened it to find an item I could've have easily stolen.

God knows.
The Lost Chapters though will open up that door just outside the guild near the boasting platformy thing. Apparently it will add on another 3rd to the original game and there'll be new weapons, shields, enemies and a massive dragon to battle.

Do you know where they plan to take the story?
