1 star in the Guardian. I am dissapointed. But I know I'm still going to go and see it.

It got 3.5 in my local paper.

I suppose its different strokes for different folks aye?

Can't WAIT for the tv series...

absolutely. resplendant with shockingly bad soundtrack as well.. class movie :)

stupid Guardian, it all seems a bit "look how unaffected by hype WE are" to me. That's the thing with star wars, it's impossible to be unbiased one way or the other as it's such a moster of a publicity machine.

I saw a doc on bollywood a couple of years ago. They ripped off "The Matrix" shot for shot. Well, with more singing and dancing obviously. Weird thing was, I saw it tonight in the local offi. Strange seeing an asian Neo jumping around the shop..

From the book this is going to be a great film, but any film where jedis get beats is good by my standards.

Well I always trust the opinions of the staff up at Empire and they liked it.

So good.

Most of the Brit newspapers have praised it, or at least given it a moderately good review. The only one that totally slated it was... wait for it, the Daily Mail.

"Anakin's now black! That's taking positive discrimination too far!" they might have said.

I'll probably see this next friday. I just wanna see some mayhem and this looks to have plenty!
