I want to get a Tony Hawks game (not Underground) and was wondering if you think I should get 3 or 4?

This dude speaks truth. Yuss. But in terms of GC, 3 is better than 4.

1, 2, 3, 4 and Underground don't. I'm not sure about Undergound 2.

But 2 was just incredibly enjoyable. What is all that if it's not as enjoyable?

No. That's still 2 for me :P

The cruise ship was a good one, but 3 had some really rubbish levels too. On the subject of nothing to do, Los Angeles was appalling.

I prefer 3's compact more action dense areas to place's like 4's London and Zoo which had too much empty space. 3 had great level design - the Cruise Ship level is a good example of this.

4 improved on it in every way. Better level design, smoother control system and engine, better graphics, more interesting goals, no time limit, reverts, spine transfers, pro challenges, customisation...

4 captured the very essence of the Tony Hawk's series.
